Are safelists an effective way to market your home based
business?
I believe if worked properly, using safelists as a tool to market your
business can be extremely effective. Using safelists is an inexpensive, even no
cost way to get your ad out to many, many prospective customers on a regular
business.
In safelist marketing, you can send your home based business ad out daily to
a targeted market who are looking for what you have to offer. You can use a
different ad everyday, promote different products, etc. unlike when you submit
one ad for a spot in an ezine.
The ad you are emailing is never considered to be spam because a safelist is
of course, opt-in. When people sign up to send out their ads, they agree
to receive mail from others on the list.
Always track your ads however because some safelists are more responsive and
have more active members then others. Then you will know which ones are working
and which ones aren’t and just concentrate using the responsive safelists on a
daily basis.
Many safelists now offer the ability to send your mail to more people by
using credit links as a way to get you to read the email. Once read, click on
the credit link and you will earn credits, enabling you to mail out to more
people. The more credits you have, the more mailing you can do.
Many safelists also offer a members area with information and tips on how to
effectively market your home based business, as well as free tools and
ebooks.
Using safelists on a continous daily basis can be a very effective way to get
word about your business or product out there in front of the masses. Just
remember, you need to get a prospects attention to get them to first open the
email. Make sure your ad copy and subject lines are your best work!
